officially on leave up to 20/11... 2 papers this time ard, on which falls on 2 wed... mother in law will be gg to bangkok for holiday tmr, so i need to look after ryan, study n oso cook!!!

today went for my yearly checkup, told Dr Chua that i m planning no. 2 next yr... she had advise me to try to reduce weight by exercising intensively to prepare my body for no.2... YES, i m fat now... ya, i know i desperately need to lose weight n hope this time i m determined enough... planning to start after exam - gym session 2 times a wk during lunch time n sat, swimming time!!!hope to lose abt 8-10kg over 1yr!!! Jus bought myself a running shoe to motivate myself to exercise!!! hope my "3mins HOT" doesnt really only last 3mins la!!! I oso need running shorts / jus shorts to go exercise and also a weighing machine to keep track of my weights!!!

okie... i need to continue with my revision now.... killer papers...

ryan now alr started to talk and is able to express him better!
- he can say mama (very often), dad dad (sometime dad di / papa-when he is happy), nai nai, ah ma
- sometime can heard him say "bu yao"
- when he wans to be carried, he will stand still n hold his both hands out n say bao bao
- when he wans to pacifier or drink water, he will point his mouth
- he will scream out VERY LOUD when he is happy

overall, he is a healthy and happy baby!!!

dear will be having his last day in this current emply after 5 yrs +, will be into his new career next mon... no break in between cos he has to work even harder now, since he is taking risky move.... still, i will support him even though i always say he lose out on the 13mth bonus... hopefully, he is able to proof that the benefit he will get in the new job is more than the 13mth bonus!!!

i will also be on leave from 9 nov to 19 nov... not really break la, still have to study for my exam which the 1st paper will be on next wed... a killer paper - Financial Statement Analysis.

parent-in-law will be gg to thailand for holiday this sun!!! luckily i m on leave, so i can look after ryan!!! planning to bring ryan to sch in the morning, den i can study... maybe afternoon back to my parents place so there will be someone to look after ryan so i study!!! see how ba!!!

i also wan a holiday.... keep telling dear i surely wan to go taiwan next yr... if he doesnt wan to go with me, i will find friends!!! but still planning which period of the yr to go...

my last post was on hmmmm.... ryan's b'dae celebration???

on his actual b'dae, we brought him to Singapore Flyer... at first he was scared, keep on wanting us to carry, dare not walk ard... we had the whole cabin to ourselves... at first was wow wow wow... abt 15mins later, we will aiyo... is the flyer moving, y so slow... but slowly, ryan started walk here n there!!!

after that, we had lunch at popeye n headed home after that... evening time, went over to my parent's house, they had a mini celebration with ryan n after that went to celebrate lantern festival...

not much happening this few days... ohhh ya, i balloted for my co bintan villa, in the end, now, we will trying to find ppl to go!!! boring rite, book le, like no one wan to go... no choice, cant cancel, die die must go!!! anyone interested??? will be gg on 23/10 to 25/10...

my exam is coming SOON... a bit scared liao, this sem is having corp finance n financial statement analysis.. still dunno what is it talking abt!!! die la!!! 1 more individual assignment to submit before starting my revision!!! 7 more modules to go before graduating.. likely i will jus take a basic degree la!!! tired alr!!!

early this morning was happening... last nite, dear n me was slping on the floor, where it shd be ryan's slping place... but now, he prefer to slp on OUR bed... ryan had a BAD slping posture, when u slp with him, u will risk having a kick or slap suddenly from him!!! so mostly, dear will accompany him to slp, while i slp on the floor!!! last nite, i "tink" i ask dear to hug me to slp, den he forget to go back to the bed to slp with ryan later on... abt 5plus, we heard a TUD sound, ryan was so clever, such a big bed, he can turn n turn n fell... immediately dear carry him n coax him... had to monitor to see if anything anot... keeping fingers cross!!!

talking on last fri, after the celebration in sch, we jus went for our lunch with chunlan jie jie @ the korean restaurant n after that jus shop at causeway pt!!! didnt choose to go far cos chunlan jie jie need to work n we had to attend a mooncake festival celebration in sch in the evening...

did recd a sms from the principal tat asking us to dress up our children as there is a performance by the kids... i was tinking " so small, perform wat"... so 6plus, we walk to the sch, the teacher jus carry ryan away, told us to wait at the performaces area... ryan, of cos cry, but stop after a while!!!

in the end, we knew from the performance schedule tat ryan together with his class, did perform... we had to hide in a corner to take pics as we knew once ryan saw us, he wont kuai kuai stand there... surprisingly, he did show some movement!!! i was so happy seeing ryan's 1st performaces in sch!!!

Went to see F1 last sat n sun... 1st time watching... Sat was the qualifying round, but we went ard 7 plus, it was the practice... at first was WOW... later, i started to yawn alr... haha... the sound was very loud, watch for abt 1/2 hr den we go off, intend to go back to watch the qualifying round, but didn't! In the end, we went toy'r'us, get a tricycle for ryan as b'dae present!!!

Sun, as usual, early in the morning, dear will join his friends for golf session, will have breakfast together den i will bring ryan back to my parents' house... mummy bring ryan to kiddy palace to choose his present, but didn't manage to get 1! back hm ard 3 plus... rest a while before heading to F1 to watch the final race!!! It is different from watching on tv, will get the FEEL...

Can be sure, ryan know how to call me alr!!! He will call me "ma mi" or miiiii... depend on his mood!!! he talks a lot recently, all baby talk one, mil said he is learning to talk alr... a bit slow la for his age, but everyone told me boys are slow... we stop his weekend lesson alr, knew how flashcards work n wat skills are gd for him... i intend to DIY some flashcards n buy some photographic memory tools for him... heard that it will improve his memory skills n help him learn n memories things fast!!!

3 more days to his mini birthday celebration in sch n 4 more days to his BIG 2...

was so angry last nite... with myself, i failed to discipline my ryan well!!! It was so obvious that he is spoiled... Cant blame ryan as this is the environment created by adults.... He is our first child, the first grandson to his grandparents... everyone will be there to spoiled him, giving him the best n all he wants...

I obviously spoiled him oso, buying him watever he wants, as long as i can afford... but at the same time, i do discipline him, i oso used cane n i do scold him when he misbehave... of cos, i dun really hit him hard with the cane la...

wat he did that drive me crazy:
- throw things whenever he dun wan it already
- meal time, run here n there (have to go ard the house to feed him, for mil, sometime worst, she bring the bowl of rice to downstairs or outside the house to feed him)
- ask him stop crying, in the end, he cried even louder
& many more...

whenever he start to mess things up or throw things ard, my cane will come out, I dun wan him to mess up everything n like tat goes off... he will only cultivate this habit that someone will always clean up after tat... ya, true, whenever he mess up, no one is there to teach him, ask him to keep...

the 1st time he started taking semi-solid food, he was sitting in his chair, maybe that time he still dunno how to walk or crawl, that's why so kuai... the 1st time i saw him outside the house running here n there without mil behind holding a bowl, i was so furious! i cant understand, i wan my child to sit down properly n have his meal, not running ard during his meal time!

when i was pregnant, i told myself, my son wont take cold drinks, no sweets, no chocolates, no junk food... but now, he takes EVERYTHINGs... imagine how mad i was when i came hm n knew that he had taken his first bite of chocolates...

I had been tolerating, jus dun wan to blow up the whole things... I m a stubborn person, i had my own ways of discipline n teach my child... tats is the reason i read alot on parenting magazine... told dear tat ryan will move in together with us when our flat is already... I dun wan to see my son only on the weekends, no one will be there to discipline him... i aready made a wrong choice by not stating clearly n firmly on how i wan to raise my son... i m so angry!!!
